Title of the event Community Táncház with Live Folk Band Following the Competition Programme
Brief summary or discribe the objective of the event (EN): Due to the nature of solo dance competitions, participants are exposed to individual
performance pressure and heightened competitive stress. The primary pedagogical objective
of the táncház closing the professional programme is stress relief (recreation) and the
transformation of the competitive situation into a communal experience. During the
programme, the focus shifts from individual evaluation to collective joy, facilitating positive
social interactions among participants.
The Dance House; Method as a Community-Building Tool
For the children and youth age groups, the táncház is not merely entertainment but a non-
formal learning environmentwhere the following goals are achieved:

Interactive Socialization: Young people arriving from different regions come into
direct contact through shared dance, which breaks down the walls of subjective rivalry
and strengthens folk dance identity.
Development of Improvisational Skills: Following the rigid forms of the solo
competition, the freedom of the táncház provides an opportunity for the creative,
informal application of learned motifs, which is a vital tool for increasing self-
confidence.
The Role and Impact Mechanism of Live Folk Music
The live folk music accompaniment, as an integral part of the event, carries key
methodological functions:
Auditory Education: Children experience the acoustics of the instruments and non-
verbal communication with the musicians at close range.
Dynamic Adaptation: The flexibility of live music allows the dance leader
(pedagogue) to adjust the tempo and dynamics to the current fatigue levels or mood of
the group, ensuring continuous engagement.
Age-Specific Characteristics and Differentiation
The programme design takes into account the differing needs of the children and youth age
groups:
Children’s Category: Application of playful invitations to dance, simple circle
dances, and singing games to establish the foundation of the community experience.
Youth Category: Provision of more complex dance cycles (táncrend), where the
traditional frameworks of partner dances and gender roles (leading-following) support
socialization during adolescence.
The táncház programme of the Móra Solo Dance Competition is an important milestone in
talent management. The event demonstrates that folk dance is not merely a stage production
but a personality-shaping community activity that can be integrated into daily life. The
programme contributes to the mental health of young people, the deepening of cultural roots,
and long-term professional commitment.

Title of the event and a brief summary or objective of the event (RO / HU): A szólótáncversenyek során a résztvevők jelentős egyéni teljesítménykényszernek és
versenydrukknaak vannak kitéve. A programot lezáró táncház elsődleges pedagógiai célja a
feszültségoldás (rekreáció), valamint a versenyszituáció közösségi élménnyé alakítása. Itt a
Interaktív szocializáció: A különböző tájegységekről érkező fiatalok közös tánca
során közvetlen kapcsolatba kerülnek egymással, lebontva a rivalizálás falait és
erősítve a néptáncos identitást.

alkalmazása, melyek megalapozzák a közösségi élményt.
Ifjúsági korosztály: Komplexebb táncrendek biztosítása, ahol a páros táncok és a
vezetés-követés hagyományos szerepei segítik a kamaszkori szocializációt.
A Móra szólótáncverseny táncházi programja jelentős szerepet tölt be a tehetséggondozás
mindennapi életben is alkalmazható, személyiségformáló közösségi tevékenység. A program
hozzájárul a fiatalok mentális egészségéhez, a kulturális gyökerek elmélyítéséhez, valamint a
szakmai elköteleződés erősödéséhez.
