Summary

Grassroots brings together FORTUNA Arad Sports Association (Romania) and the Sports Club of Algyő (Hungary) to develop youth football as a tool for personal growth, inclusion, and cross-border cooperation.

The project focuses on creating a Joint Strategy and Methodology for grassroots football, tailored for clubs and schools in both countries. It strengthens local capacity for sports education, promotes healthy lifestyles, and uses football to build mutual trust and community spirit.

Through infrastructure investments, joint training sessions, school tournaments, and youth camps, the project gives children and young people from both sides of the border a chance to learn, play, and grow together. It also supports teachers and trainers in using sport as a tool for inclusion and personal development.

By combining sports, education, and cooperation, Grassroots encourages unity through shared goals and fair play.
