Summary

B.R.E.A.C.H. unites communities in Roșia (RO) and Esztár (HU) to protect biodiversity and restore ecosystems through education, research, and active engagement. The project creates two Biodiversity Observation Hubs - one in Roșia with a 19 m panoramic tower, and one in Esztár by restoring a dried lake – each aiming to welcome 10,000 visitors annually.
Activities include developing educational trails, interactive exhibits, biomonitoring studies, interpretation plans, and a cross-border Biodiversity Masterplan. Knowledge-sharing is strengthened through workshops, a professional conference in Nyíregyháza, and short films promoting conservation values.
By combining infrastructure, education, and cooperation, B.R.E.A.C.H. sets a new standard for cross-border biodiversity protection in the Romania–Hungary region.

Project Aim
