Summary
CrossTrain aims to improve cross-border disaster response capacity by developing a common risk management strategy, increasing the quality of cross-border interventions in risk situations, and improving the skills of professionals and volunteer intervention personnel. The project addresses the need for efficient and faster intervention in different types of emergencies and joint disaster operations, making disaster management activities more widely known.

Objectives
✅ Develop a common risk management strategy
✅ Increase the quality of cross-border interventions in risk situations
✅ Improve the skills of professionals and volunteer intervention personnel
✅ Establish joint disaster operations for efficient intervention
Key Activities & Results
🔹 Professional Preparedness Training – Train 100 people in professional preparedness, covering fire management, personnel search, and technical rescue tasks in specific local conditions.
🔹 Multi-Day Training Sessions – Implement 20 multi-day training sessions for 10 groups, creating a real-time database to alert and call upon trained volunteers for actual interventions.
🔹 Cooperation Procedure Development – Develop a new cooperation procedure for effective joint cooperation in cross-border events, allowing resource sharing and intervention in each other's areas.
🔹 Presentation Event – Organize a presentation at the "Regional Cross-Border Training Centre for Integrated Emergency Preparedness" in Hajdúszoboszló, showcasing the results of the training to the public.
By integrating modern infrastructure with cross-border initiatives, CrossTrain enhances disaster response capacity in the region. By the end of the project, disaster prevention and response in the cross-border region will be more efficient and collaborative.
