Summary
GreenLink empowers communities in Nyírbátor (HU) and Carei (RO) to lead the clean energy transition through participatory planning, education, and innovation. The project addresses energy challenges by involving citizens, public officials, and experts in co-creation processes, training, and awareness campaigns. It also includes infrastructure upgrades and the use of renewable energy in public buildings.

To improve key conditions for a clean and fair energy transition in the cross-border area by increasing stakeholder participation and building capacity among experts, officials, and citizens.

🔹 Energy Recovery Equipment – Installation of kinetic energy tools in Carei
🔹 Building Renovations – Energy-efficient upgrades using RES (mainly photovoltaic modules and heat pumps) in both cities.
