Summary
InnoCoop promotes innovation and efficiency in public administration by connecting local institutions, development agencies, and schools from the Romania–Hungary border region.
The project helps public servants and young people learn how to apply innovative thinking and financial responsibility to everyday decisions, creating a stronger foundation for good governance.
Through trainings, workshops, and study visits, participants exchange good practices, discuss local challenges, and develop a joint cross-border innovation strategy. The initiative encourages cooperation, transparency, and trust between neighbouring regions.

Key Activities & Results
🔹 Innovation Management Training – Practical courses in both countries for over 30 representatives of local authorities and NGOs.
🔹 Joint Strategy Development – Creation of a cross-border innovation strategy based on best practices.
🔹 Exchange Visits – Learning sessions in Oradea and Hungarian counties to share good governance models.
🔹 Workshops –
• On efficient public fund management (Hungary)
• On cross-border transport and economic growth (Romania)
🔹 Financial Literacy Programme – Classes in 22 schools (12 in HU, 10 in RO), reaching around 600 students.
🔹 Equipment Procurement – Tools and materials supporting project management and training delivery.
