Summary
IT Explore connects the neighbouring communities of Ineu (Romania) and Tarhos (Hungary) through a new cross-border active tourism route that combines nature, culture, and recreation.
The project enhances tourism and cultural infrastructure by building visitor and leisure facilities in both towns and creating a shared trail that links heritage sites, green spaces, and community landmarks. It also develops a joint Sustainable Tourism and Cultural Preservation Strategy and Action Plan, ensuring coordinated planning and long-term benefits for both sides of the border.
Through cross-border cultural events, workshops, and accessible facilities, IT Explore promotes inclusion, cooperation, and environmental awareness, turning the Ineu–Tarhos area into a welcoming, eco-friendly, and vibrant tourism destination.
