Summary
Media Detective aims to provide support and efficient tools for identifying fake news and phishing attempts, enhancing media literacy and critical thinking skills among young people. The project addresses the rapid expansion of the online world and the challenges it poses to the formal education system. Through interactive exhibitions, workshops, and digital tools, the project empowers educators and students to become informed and digitally literate citizens.

Project Aim
The project aims to enhance media literacy and critical thinking skills among young people, providing tools to identify fake news and phishing attempts.

Objectives
✅ Provide support and tools for identifying fake news and phishing attempts
✅ Enhance media literacy and critical thinking skills among young people
✅ Empower educators and students through interactive exhibitions and workshops
✅ Promote cross-border cooperation in media literacy development

Key Activities & Results
🔹 Interactive Exhibitions – Develop portable interactive exhibitions on fake news and misinformation, installed in 5-10 schools in Romania and Hungary.
🔹 Exhibition Exchange – Promote cross-border cooperation by exchanging exhibitions between schools in Bihor and Hajdú-Bihar counties.
🔹 City Discovery Games – Organise City Discovery Games in Oradea and Debrecen, involving 25 participants per country.
🔹 Engagement of Youth – Engage 3,000 high school and university students in media literacy activities, enhancing their ability to distinguish real news from fake news.

By integrating modern tools with cross-border initiatives, Media Detective enhances media literacy and critical thinking skills in the region. young people in the cross-border region will be more informed and resilient against misinformation.
