Summary

MEDSKILLS strengthens healthcare cooperation between Nyíregyháza and Satu Mare by improving professional skills in the field of advanced laparoscopic surgery, particularly colorectal procedures. The project addresses disparities in healthcare services across the border region through direct knowledge transfer, peer learning, and modern medical equipment.

At the heart of the project is the creation of a cross-border peer learning hub in Nyíregyháza, where medical professionals from both countries exchange expertise and gain hands-on experience. Combined with strategic planning and investments in advanced surgical equipment, the initiative supports better healthcare services and more balanced access to specialised treatments in the region.
