Summary
MERIT strengthens the healthcare infrastructure in Bihor (RO) and Hajdú-Bihar (HU) counties by enhancing emergency medical response through simulation-based training, expert workshops, and modern equipment. 🔹 Practical Guide – Developed for Disaster Medicine Simulation Training and Advanced Life Support
🔹 Expert Workshops – Four foundational sessions to support curriculum development
🔹 Specialised Training Modules – Delivered to 400 medical students and 60 practising doctors
🔹 Disaster Simulation Contests – Two competitions involving 40 medical students
🔹 Strategic Action Plan – Includes a database of trained volunteers for emergency response
🔹 Equipment Procurement – Modern tools for critical care units in the county clinical hospital in Oradea, the Clinical Center in Debrecen, and vehicle converted into a full-fledged ambulance (PP4)
🔹 Informational Caravans – 10 events in Romania and 10 in Hungary to promote awareness
🔹 Project Website – A platform for networking, sharing insights, and community engagement
