Summary

Safety for Teens (S4T) promotes road safety awareness among at least 9,000 young people in Bihor (Romania) and Hajdú-Bihar (Hungary) through interactive prevention workshops and cross-border cooperation.

The project helps teenagers understand the real risks of alcohol, drug use, and unsafe driving by using innovative, hands-on tools that simulate real-life traffic situations. Students experience the effects of impaired driving in a safe, guided environment, gaining experience-based awareness that saves lives.

Alongside practical workshops in schools, the two project partners organise joint road safety sessions and create a five-year action plan to sustain cross-border cooperation in prevention and education.

S4T also addresses the digital challenges affecting today’s youth, integrating technology-based learning tools and promoting safe, responsible behaviour in both real and digital spaces.
