Summary

Resilience4Health enhances healthcare accessibility and quality in the cross-border region by modernizing rehabilitation facilities, strengthening professional cooperation, and increasing public awareness of rehabilitation services.

The project upgrades key healthcare infrastructure in Lovrin (RO), Szentes (HU), and Mórahalom (HU), ensuring better access to integrated and patient-centered rehabilitation services. It also promotes knowledge-sharing among healthcare professionals and explores solutions for improving patient mobility in the cross-border area.

Project Aim

The project seeks to provide improved and resilient rehabilitation healthcare services in Timiș and Csongrád-Csanád counties by investing in infrastructure and equipment, standardizing practices, and enhancing medical competencies.

Objectives

Upgrade Rehabilitation Facilities to provide state-of-the-art rehabilitation services in Lovrin, Szentes, and Mórahalom
Foster Professional Collaboration through joint programs, workshops, and multidisciplinary teams
Increase Public Awareness of rehabilitation services, healthy lifestyles, and prevention techniques
Enhance Patient Mobility by identifying and addressing barriers in the cross-border region

Key Activities & Results

🔹 Modernized Rehabilitation Facilities – Upgraded Balneo-Physio-Kinetotherapy & Medical Recovery Unit in Lovrin, Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Department in Szentes, and Móra-Vitál Health Centre in Mórahalom, ensuring better patient access to specialized rehabilitation services.
🔹 Professional Development – Organized joint programs, workshops, and forums for healthcare professionals to share knowledge, improve skills, and exchange best practices.
🔹 Multidisciplinary Cooperation – Established teams of doctors, therapists, nurses, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive, personalized rehabilitation care.
🔹 Public Awareness Campaigns – Launched initiatives to educate the population about rehabilitation options and the benefits of cross-border healthcare, encouraging early access to services.
🔹 Patient Mobility Strategy – Developed recommendations to enhance patient mobility in the region through consultations with stakeholders and strategic planning.
🔹 Common Healthcare Strategy – Created a strategy for harmonizing healthcare systems across the border, promoting resilience, accessibility, and improved care delivery.

By enhancing infrastructure, fostering professional cooperation, and increasing public awareness, Resilience4Health creates a stronger, more accessible, and patient-centred rehabilitation system that improves the quality of life for communities in the cross-border region.
