On March 1, 2017 the Ministry of Regional Development Public Administration and European Funds, acting as Managing Authority for the Interreg V-A Romania – Hungary Programme, launches for national public consultation, the draft of the Guide for Applicants for the second Open Call for proposals within the Programme.

Between February 06-09, 2017 the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme organized a series of four Information seminars, in Oradea (06.02.2017), Debrecen (07.02.2017), Szeged (08.02.2017) and Arad (09.02.2017), for each of the two active Calls for proposals.

During February 06-10, 2017, the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme organises a series of Info Days events and a Partner Search Forum, which are going to be held in connection with the two CfPs launched in the framework of the programme on December 29, 2016 (i.e. one Open Call, for normal project proposals and one Restricted Call, for strategic project proposals).

The Monitoring Committee (MC) of the programme held its second meeting on 24th of November 2016 in Timișoara, Romania. The main topic of the meeting was to approve, under condition, to launch some of the Investment Priorities within the Programme, by the end of 2016. - 29.11.2016

Interreg V-A Romania - Hungary Programme launches the second round of public consultation on the draft Guide for Applicants, opened until July 18, 2016

The first Monitoring Committee meeting of the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme, managed by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration (MRDPA), as Managing Authority, was held in Békéscsaba, Hungary, on May 26, 2016.

The European Commission adopted on the 9th of December 2015 the new Interreg Programme between Romania and Hungary, worth €231.8 million, with €189.1 million coming from the European Regional Development Fund.

The events aimed to promote Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme, to gear prospective applicants towards successful co-operation initiatives, as well as to facilitate the creation of partnerships.
