Every year, the Interreg V-A Romania- Hungary Programme organises its Annual Event, aiming at promoting the Programme, the financed projects and in particular the achieved results to the wide public. In 2019, the Programme chose to dedicate the event to one of our guiding principles: environment protection.

The INTERREG V-A ROMANIA-HUNGARY Programme announces the organization of the Annual Event entitled “GREEN INITIATIVE” that will take place on the 11th - 12th November 2019, in Pecica, Arad County (RO) and Gyula, Bekes County (HU).

The European Commission approved the modification of the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme, on October 18th, 2019. Following the launching of all available funds and projects selection within the 3rd Open Call, the Management Authority proposed a second modification of the Cooperation Programme, for reallocation of funds.

The Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme organized in Satu Mare, (Romania), on December 12, 2018 its Annual event, titled “Making a Difference: ROHU Projects in Focus”.

The participants of the camp were accommodated in the Ökotúra guesthouse and camping, located in the village of Hortobágy. 20 Hungarian and 20 Romanian young people volunteered to participate in this camp, undertaking environmental conservation activities.

This week, between September 11-12, 2018, Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme held its highly productive 5th Monitoring Committee meeting in Debrecen, Hungary. The main point on the Agenda was the approval of the projects submitted within the 2nd Open Call for project proposals.

In order to reach the decommintment target for 2018, the Managing Authority of the Programme issued Instruction 1 / July 27, 2018, regarding the reimbursement claims within ROHU projects.

With the closure of the Written Procedure 24, approving the Minutes of the 4th Interreg V-A ROHU MC Meeting and the adoption of DECISION No 49 from July 24, 2018, a series of acceleration and simplification actions enter into force and are to be applied to projects under implementation in the framework of the Programme, for the benefit of beneficiaries.

The Project Implementation Manual (PIM) of the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme is intended to provide Lead and project beneficiaries of funded operations with useful information on each implementation phases of a project life cycle.

As we already announced on our website, the first financing contracts of the approved projects from the 1st Open Call were signed by all parties, thus marking the start of the implementation of the projects. While this is a beginning of a very exciting period, it is fair to state that from now on beneficiaries have to obey several regulations and provisions through all implementation period.

How much funding is available? The amount of funding available for this relaunched Restricted Call for Proposals is 13,925,083 EUR (ERDF), increased with the relevant Romanian and Hungarian state co-financing.
