During August 2015, BRECO, Oradea Regional Office for Cross-Border Cooperation on Romanian-Hungarian Border, in cooperation with the Managing Authority for the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary - Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration in Romania and with the National Authority – The Prime Minister’s Office in Hungary, had organised a series of awareness raising and partner search events, held in each of the 8 counties of the eligible Programme area.
The events started at the beginning of August 2015 on the Romanian side of the border and continued in Hungary, as follows:
The events aimed to promote Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme, to gear prospective applicants towards successful co-operation initiatives, as well as to facilitate the creation of partnerships.
The Agenda of the events contained a presentation the new Programme and its financial opportunities, as well as a Q&A session. Beneficiaries of projects implemented in the previous programming period had been invited to participate in the events, giving the audience the opportunity to hear the story behind successful initiatives already accomplished in the 2007+ period.
The last part of each event was dedicated to interactive discussions among participants, with the aim to share experience and contacts, as well as inspiring new ideas, or even to create new partnerships.
The events proved to be of great interest, being attended by a numerous audience coming from all the eight counties of the program area. Altogether 412 people participated in these events.
