REGIOSTARS, the annual competition organised by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policies (DG REGIO), has reached its 16th edition. Over the years, the competition has become a mark of excellence for EU-funded innovative and inclusive projects in terms of regional development.
In this context, the Managing Authority encourages beneficiaries of projects implemented and completed under the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme to participate in this competition.
The application shall be submitted via the online platform until 31 May 2023 under the following thematic categories:
The winners of each of the 6 categories will be selected by an independent jury and will benefit from a local communication campaign managed in cooperation with DG REGIO to promote the awarded activities in the region.
As in previous years, the public will also have the opportunity to vote for their favourite finalist project for the "Public Choice Award".
The REGIOSTARS award ceremony will be held in Ostrava (Czech Republic) on 16 November 2023.
More details on the competition are available here. Also, for further information on the application process, the description of the award categories, eligibility and award criteria, please consult the Application Guide.
