The European Cooperation Day is celebrated on the 21st of September and the surrounding days every year, aiming at showcasing successful project results and promoting the importance of territorial cooperation. Programmes and projects come up with exciting events and activities to involve EU citizens in the celebration, thus strengthening the links and relationships between each other, as ultimately, it is the cooperation between individuals that makes cooperation on the EU level possible. This year, our Programme celebrates by uniting our followers for a brief moment of online cooperation. This week, between September 11-12, 2018, Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme held its highly productive 5th Monitoring Committee meeting in Debrecen, Hungary. The main point on the Agenda was the approval of the projects submitted within the 2nd Open Call for project proposals.

In order to reach the decommintment target for 2018, the Managing Authority of the Programme issued Instruction 1 / July 27, 2018, regarding the reimbursement claims within ROHU projects.

With the closure of the Written Procedure 24, approving the Minutes of the 4th Interreg V-A ROHU MC Meeting and the adoption of DECISION No 49 from July 24, 2018, a series of acceleration and simplification actions enter into force and are to be applied to projects under implementation in the framework of the Programme, for the benefit of beneficiaries.

The Project Implementation Manual (PIM) of the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme is intended to provide Lead and project beneficiaries of funded operations with useful information on each implementation phases of a project life cycle.

As we already announced on our website, the first financing contracts of the approved projects from the 1st Open Call were signed by all parties, thus marking the start of the implementation of the projects. While this is a beginning of a very exciting period, it is fair to state that from now on beneficiaries have to obey several regulations and provisions through all implementation period.

The Programme’s entire financial allocation, i.e. 177,790,352.00 EUR ERDF has been already launched, in the framework of three rounds of Calls, starting with December 2016 and ending with the two Calls launched in November 2017. 3 Calls out of a total number of 7 have the application phase already completed and are undergoing evaluation.

The submission deadline for the relaunched 1st Restricted Call for proposals is about to be extended. The new deadline envisaged is December 15, 2017.

We are happy to announce that with the launching of the 3rd round of Calls, the entire remaining Programme financial allocation, i.e. 90,595,062.00 EUR ERDF, has been made available, for both normal and strategic projects. In this context, the Programme organised, between November 06-10, 2017, a series of 8 Information seminars, 1 for each of the two active Calls, in 4 different locations, and a Partner Search Forum, for the Open Call. Following the approval of Order No. 5687/1799/2017, for the modification and completion of the Methodological Norms regarding Government Ordinance 29/2015, the advance granted to Romanian beneficiaries from the national co-financing has been increased, from 60% to a maximum of 80% of the eligible value of the co-financing contract.

Dear applicants, we do our best to facilitate your access to the public funds. Therefore, please be advised that your application needs to be formally compliant. In this regard, please check the relevant sections of the Guides for Applicants, to see which are the documents that if not attached, lead to immediate rejection of your project proposal.

The Audit Authority within the Romanian Court of Accounts released the final audit report designating the authorities for the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme.

A total number of 330 participants, from both countries attended our series of events, organized between June 19-23, 2017, in the context of the second round of CfPs launched. 283 people joined the Info Days events in Timișoara (19.06.2017), Satu Mare (20.06.2017), Nyiregyhaza (21.06.2017) and Békéscsaba (22.06.2017) and got detailed information about the 2nd round of active CfPs, for both normal and strategic projects.
