On September 21, 2016 the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration, acting as Managing Authority for the Interreg V-A Romania – Hungary Programme, launches for national public consultation in Romania, the draft of the Guide for Applicants for the first Open Call for proposals within Interreg V-A Romania – Hungary Programme.
In this context, stakeholders are invited to get involved in the consultation process and express their views and suggestions regarding the Guide, by sending them until the 20th of October 2016, to the following e-mail addresses: rohu@mdrap.ro and joint.secretariat@brecoradea.ro.
The documents (the Guide and annexes) are available on the MRDPA’s website, under the section dedicated to Interreg V-A Romania – Hungary Programme and from here.
Within this Open Call for proposals, projects under 3 Priority Axes may be supported, projects concerning joint protection and efficient use of common values and resources (cooperating on common values and resources), improvement of risk-prevention and disaster management (cooperating on risk prevention and disaster management) and promotion of cross-border cooperation between institutions and citizens (cooperation of institutions and communities).
The total budget for the projects supported under the first Open Call for proposals is of 26,208,480.00 euro, out of which 22,277,207.00 euro represents the ERDF non refundable financing.
The eligible area of the Programme comprises Timiş, Arad, Bihor and Satu Mare counties (in Romania) and Csongrád, Békés, Hajdú-Bihar and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg (in Hungary).
The total budget of the Programme is of 231,861,763.00 euro, of which 189,138,672.00 euro represents financing from the European Regional Development Fund.
Romania is acting as Managing Authority (through the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration), the National Authority is established within the Prime Minister’s Office in Hungary, while the Joint Secretariat is functioning within BRECO, in Oradea. The Audit Authority within the Romanian Court of Accounts carries out the audit at Programme’s level, while the Managing Authority performs the certifying functions, as well.
