The Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme announces the signing, by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration in Romania as Managing Authority, of 3 new financing contracts in the frame of the 1st and 2nd Open Call, one Concept Note financing contract and of the first 3 Full Application financing contracts.
The 7 contracted projects have a total value of EUR 34,649,906.24 out of which EUR 29,153,044.88 from the European Regional Development Fund.
The allocation of ERDF funding is of EUR 16,730,408.36 for Romanian beneficiaries, respectively EUR 12,422,636.52 for Hungarian beneficiaries.
The contracted projects concern initiatives regarding risk prevention and disaster management (within Investment priority 5/b), cross-border cooperation between citizens and institutions (within Investment priority 11/b), investment in health infrastructure (within Investment priority 9/a), environmentally friendly transport systems, including low noise and low-carbon (within Investment priority 7/b), respectively conserving, protecting, promoting and developing natural and cultural heritage (Investment priority 6/c).
