Second round of public consultation - Guide for Applicants for the second Restricted Call, strategic projects

On April 12 2017, the Ministry of Regional Development, Public Administration and European Funds, acting as Managing Authority for the Interreg V-A Romania – Hungary Programme, launches for the second round of public consultation, the Guide for Applicants for the second Restricted Call for strategic projects proposals, within Interreg V-A Romania – Hungary Programme.

In this context, stakeholders are invited to get involved in the consultation process and express their views and suggestions regarding the Guide, by sending them until the 20th of April 2017, to the following e-mail addresses: rohu@mdrap.ro and joint.secretariat@brecoradea.ro .

The documents (the Guide and annexes) are available on the MRDPAEF’s website, under the section dedicated to Interreg V-A Romania – Hungary Programme (http://www.mdrap.ro/dezvoltare-regionala/-4970/-7572/-1369) and on the Programmes website, here.

The total estimated budget of the present Call for strategic projects to be financed within Investment Priority 9/a, - investment in heath infrastructure - is 48.170.588,23 euro, of which 40.945.000,00 euro represents financing from the European Regional Development Fund.

During 2014-2020 period, the programme intends to support flagship (strategic) projects, under 4 priority axes, in the fields of joint protection and efficient use of common values and resources (Cooperating on common values and resources), improvement of sustainable cross-border mobility and removal of bottlenecks (Cooperating on accessibility), improvement of employment and promotion of crossborder labour market (Cooperating on employment), as well as improvement of healthcare services (Cooperating on health-care and prevention).

Romania is acting as Managing Authority (through the Ministry of Regional Development, Public Administration and European Funds), the National Authority being established within the Prime Minister’s Office in Hungary, while the Joint Secretariat is functioning within BRECO, in Oradea. The designated Audit Authority of the Programme is the Romanian Court of Accounts. The Managing Authority performs the certification functions.
