In accordance with the obligations imposed by Regulation (EU) No 1303/2013, Annex XII, section 2.1.2 (f), on the responsibilities of the Member State and the Managing Authority to provide updated information on the implementation of the Programme, including its main achievements, we are pleased to inform you that the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme has exceeded the decommitment target set for the year 2020.
Despite of a difficult year, marked by the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic - as a result of preventive or remedial measures taken by the Managing Authority - the decommitment target for 2020 and an absorption rate of 25.26% of the ERDF allocation of the Programme have been successfully achieved.
By the 30th of December 2020, 23 payment applications for reimbursement, worth more than 47.77 million EUR FEDR, out of which 29.86 EUR in 2020, were submitted to the European Commission.
The decommitment target for 2020 of more than EUR 29,86 million has thus been reached and even exceeded by EUR 0,32 million.
We welcome the progress made toward achieving the Programme objectives, as well as the efforts made so far, and we wish success to all beneficiaries in the further implementation and closure of their projects.
