We are pleased to invite you to a conference organised by the Interreg VI-A Romania-Hungary Programme, in partnership with Ţării Crişurilor Museum Oradea to celebrate Interreg Cooperation Day 2024.
This year’s theme, "EU Values Overcoming Borders" highlights the spirit of unity that has brought us together as European nations through cooperation, shared development, and community-building.
We are privileged to welcome Mr. Adrian Cioroianu, esteemed historian and diplomat, professor at the University of Bucharest, former Romanian Ambassador to UNESCO and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, who will present an insightful speech on Romanian-Hungarian relations and the powerful role of EU values in bridging borders.
The conference offers a meaningful moment to reflect on how the EU, through Interreg programmes between Romania and Hungary, has removed physical and mental barriers between countries, ensuring equal access to healthcare, education, and employment, while fostering inclusive communities.
