Exciting news from the 3rd Monitoring Committee Meeting: List of approved projects & Targeted Call for Strategic Operations published

We are delighted to share two significant developments that emerged from the 3rd Monitoring Committee (MC) meeting, held on November 8, 2024, marking important steps forward for cooperation and sustainable growth in our region. Here is what is new:

     1. Selection of projects under Priority 1

With a total allocation of €21,777,429.90 from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), these projects, which align with our Programme’s commitment to a greener and more resilient Europe have been approved across three specific objectives:

  • 2.2 Promoting renewable energy (€7,941,089.40 ERDF)
  • 2.4 Promoting climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention (€ 3,515,724.88 ERDF)
  • 2.7 Enhancing protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity, and green infrastructure (€10,320,615,62 ERDF)

All 18 approved projects are now moving into the contracting phase. We look forward to the positive environmental impact these initiatives will bring to our communities and ecosystems.

        2. Launch of the Targeted Call for Operations of Strategic Importance (OSI)

In addition, we are excited to announce the launch the Targeted Call for Operations of Strategic Importance (OSIs), with a budget allocation of €70,376,010 ERDF. This call is dedicated to potential beneficiaries specified in Appendix 3 of the Interreg Programme and focuses on large-scale initiatives that will have a transformative impact in our region.
