Updated Project Implementation Manual and Visual Identity Manual

The Project Implementation Manual (PIM) and Visual Identity Manual (VIM) have been recently updated to make project implementation and communication clearer and more effective.

The PIM updates focus on three main areas. Section 3.1.2 on project communication has been simplified to provide general guidance and references to VIM for easier navigation, while all detailed communication requirements are now included in the revised VIM. Annex 10, State Aid, has been updated with recommendations to help partners implement activities in a way that avoids state aid issues. Section 3.3 on verifications and control reports, together with annexes 2.5, 4, and 7 of the PIM, has been revised to reflect changes introduced by the Romanian National Control Procedure.

In addition, four State Aid-related Declarations, prepared for each relevant specific objective, have been included in Annex 3 of the PIM – National Control Package for Hungarian partners. The State Aid Declaration corresponding to the SO/ISO under which the project is financed must be filled in by Hungarian partners and attached to each partner's report.

The VIM updates introduce a flexible approach to using Romanian and/or Hungarian Government logos, clarify Interreg Regulation Article 36, paragraph 4(c), provide guidance on hashtags, tagging the Programme, and event organisation, and include updated permanent plaque and  billboard  templates.

Please use the new templates and consult the updated VIM for all your project materials.

All updated manuals, annexes, templates, and key resources can be found in the Documents 2021-2027 / Project Documents section of the website.

For convenience, centralised tables summarising all PIM and VIM changes are available HERE and HERE.

We hope these updates will support you in implementing your projects smoothly and communicating more effectively.
