The 10th meeting of the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme’s Monitoring Committee

The Monitoring Committee of the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary Programme met on October 11th 2022, to discuss the programme's implementation status and to decide on the future use of the available ERDF.

On the occasion, the European Commission representative presented the Guidelines on the closure of operational programmes adopted for assistance from the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund, the Cohesion Fund and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (2014-2020) 2021/C 417/01.

The Head of the Joint Secretariat provided information regarding the ROHU state of play, particularly on the main results obtained by the projects, the overall Programme’s performance and the communication activities performed this year, including the 2022 Annual Event, and short insights into the future Programme.

To facilitate the achievement of the highest absorption rate, the MC members approved by consensus the Methodology on how to use the available ERDF, resulting from finalized projects’ savings or that could be further identified as the Programme’s implementation moves forward.
